TLC – EPC Contractor for the Electrical Power Supply System of a Packaging Factory

With extensive experience in industrial electrical engineering and construction, Tuyen Lam Technical & Mechanical Engineering Co., Ltd. (TLC) undertakes the role of a turnkey EPC contractor for the electrical power supply system of a packaging factory, covering the entire scope from Engineering and Design – Procurement of Equipment and Materials – Installation – Testing and Commissioning.

As part of the project, TLC is responsible for the design and implementation of the factory’s complete electrical power supply system, including a 2,500 kVA transformer substation to meet the power demand of the entire facility.

The medium-voltage system consists of a Medium-Voltage RMU, Recloser pole, and medium-voltage metering system, all properly selected and configured according to the project’s technical requirements. These systems provide reliable power distribution, protection, metering, and safe operation of the incoming medium-voltage supply.

On the low-voltage side, TLC supplies and installs a 3,200A Main Switchboard (MSB), serving as the main power distribution center of the factory. From the MSB, electrical power is distributed to 15 Distribution Boards (DBs) located throughout different production areas and auxiliary facilities, providing a reliable power supply for production lines, machinery, utility systems, and other factory loads.

In addition to electrical equipment, TLC also provides and installs the complete cable raceway system, including cable trays, cable ladders, and associated accessories, together with the required power cables for both medium- and low-voltage systems. Cable routing is carefully designed to optimize system reliability, facilitate inspection and maintenance, and allow for future expansion.

A successful EPC project is not only about supplying and installing equipment, but also about integrating all components into a complete and reliable electrical system. TLC carries out inspection, testing, commissioning, and system adjustment to ensure that all equipment operates correctly according to the approved design and meets the required standards for safety, quality, reliability, and operational performance.
